keyboard logger under linux

Hi,

is there anyone that is experienced in Linux programming and could help me with some direction on how to make a program that runs as a daemon and saves all keyboard activity in a text file.
Some appropriate links might be a good help too, my searches didn't reveal nothing that is matching the topic.

i can do a key caption but have to be launch manually instead of running it as daemon, u can use cron it you want :p
